JW Environmental specializes in Medically Important Remediation for clients who are concerned about or suffer from mold related illnesses, Environmentally Acquired Illnesses, CIRS, Immunodeficiency Disorders, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS), and other potentially high-risk conditions.
WHAT WE DO
Our assessment services include home inspection and environmental testing. Our investigations are aimed at detecting hidden, active, historic, and potential building issues that are contributing to a contaminated environment. After the deficiencies are identified, we will develop a strategy to transform the building into a healthy environment.
Our remediation process focuses on effective chemical avoidant mold removal and decontamination, ensuring that we are not introducing potentially harmful additives to your environment such as synthetic fragrances, encapsulants, antimicrobials, and biocides. The work areas are isolated to prevent cross contamination, and contaminated building materials are typically removed. We then perform specialized small particle cleaning to remove microscopic contaminants, including fungal fragments and mycotoxins.

Our recommendations for mitigation and remediation are based on the ANSI IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Mitigation, the ANSI IICRC S520 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation, and the Indoor Environmental Professional Panel of Surviving Mold Consensus Statement for Microbial Remediation 2020.
JWE also considers the special needs of clients with CIRS, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, and other Environmentally Acquired Illnesses.
